System not posting after cpu cooler upgrade

I've just upgraded the cpu cooler from CM tx3 evo with noctua fan to CM nepton 240m, now it wont boot. I did everything like the instrutions said, any sugestions? system specs is the one in my signature

The fans i connected to  Cpufan1 which has a fan curve, and the pump to cpufan2 which i havnt touched since i got the mobo

Have you tried re-seating the cooler?

Is it possible that the CPU isn't seated properly? It's possible, especially if you took it out to clean the old thermal paste off.

Have you plugged in the sata connector? also the USB?

Is it possible that the CPU isn't seated properly? It's possible, especially if you took it out to clean the old thermal paste off. 

I cleaned of the cpu while it was in it's socket, no changes other than the cooler so i don't think that is the problem

No, not yet. but i will try it now

what do you mean? everything other then the cooler is unchanged

 

 

 

 

Also the keyboard (K70 RGB) changes color pattern every 10 seconds, profiles i have never made...

1 did you disconnect more than cpu fan header? if so check the cpu power header as well as power button header.

2 did you screw on a cooler in x pattern ?

3 did you plug your pc in?

4 did you again checked all the cables connected?

5 did you zap any of your computer parts? like static electricity? especially if you have been working on carpet

6 did you applied thermal paste

1 Both the cpu power and power buton is in, all the leds in the case turn on ( nzxt logo, GPU led and cpu cooler led)

2 yes i did, when i took it of the thermal compund was evenly spread

5 i dont think so, most of the time i used a antistatic band, exept when is screwd in the cooler but then i was holding the case

try taking out cpu gently cleaning off the connections and putting it back also does fans spin when you power it on? if yes check the display cable both screen's and pc. and make sure you have connected it into a gpu's headers if you have one

i tried again and not it posts but its just the blinking dash in the top left corner

i tried to enter the bios with holding the power button in for 6 seconds, it says "Your settings have been restored since the previos overclock failed" perhaps it was bad seating of the cooler but then it's weird that the thermal past was even.. i will try booting now, just get the sidepanels back on
