Ok, so i will be doing kind of an ultimate water-cooled PC build log very soon, but i'm really unsure what fans to use. I will be running two 360mm Radiators in the top portion of a HAF Stacker 935 so i will need some 3 static pressure fans to push air through one radiator and then also 3 more to pull air out of the other side. there will be nothing in between the two radiators, so just 6 static pressure fans there. I then want to upgrade all of the fans that come with the chassis with a couple of airflow optimized fans, the only reason for these is to keep things like ram and hard drive and such cool, as well as upgrading the looks. I don't need anything too fancy here as everything important will be on a custom water-cooling loop, so just some basic airflow fans i think will be okay.

Now the problem i'm having is which fans to pick. I like the look of Bitfenix fans, but at the same time i like the color rings that come with the Corsair fans. If i could i would be doing the entire build with Noctua fans, but there is no way that i can afford that, so ill have to go with something cheaper. So the question is what should i do for fans, performance wise. Is Bitfenix fans better then Corsair for any reason? Is there another brand that i should be looking at? The entire build will be in a black theme, with red accents.

Thanks :)

LED fans would be cool, but i dont wanna overdo the build with too many LEDs to where it looks bad, and so far i think ill be willing to spend around 15 to 20 bucks per fan max (USD)

Also, PWM fans would be amazing too, i would prefer PWM to 3-Pin

the bitfenix spectre pro fans are quieter than the corsair SP fans while still giving enough static pressure and airflow for good cooling

last time I compared their specs, I would say they are about equal in terms of performance to noise ratio, but both are obviously worse than bequiet, noiseblocker, or noctua

fraclta design has some awesome QUIET static pressure fans they just released but im pretty sure you cant buy them anywhere yet afaik

If you want Red/Black fans, SP120 QE's are good.
