My first objections are the RM1000 and the H100i. The H100i has mounting issues with LGA1150 and the RM1000 isn't that great for the money, nor do you need 1000W.

Get an H100i GTX or Nepton 240M, and get an EVGA G2/GS/Corsair AX/HX/Seasonic/Super Flower/XFX unit.

Now, for the case, I like the Corsair 780T personally, but the new NZXT Noctis 450 may be a good choice for you.

Main Rig: CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800X | RAM: 32GB (2x16GB) KLEVV CRAS XR RGB DDR4-3600 | Motherboard: Gigabyte B550I AORUS PRO AX | Storage: 512GB SKHynix PC401, 1TB Samsung 970 EVO Plus, 2x Micron 1100 256GB SATA SSDs | GPU: EVGA RTX 3080 FTW3 Ultra 10GB | Cooling: ThermalTake Floe 280mm w/ be quiet! Pure Wings 3 | Case: Sliger SM580 (Black) | PSU: Lian Li SP 850W

Server: CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 3100 | RAM: 32GB (2x16GB) Crucial DDR4 Pro | Motherboard: ASUS PRIME B550-PLUS AC-HES | Storage: 128GB Samsung PM961, 4TB Seagate IronWolf | GPU: AMD FirePro WX 3100 | Cooling: EK-AIO Elite 360 D-RGB | Case: Corsair 5000D Airflow (White) | PSU: Seasonic Focus GM-850

Miscellaneous: Dell Optiplex 7060 Micro (i5-8500T/16GB/512GB), Lenovo ThinkCentre M715q Tiny (R5 2400GE/16GB/256GB), Dell Optiplex 7040 SFF (i5-6400/8GB/128GB)

What is your budget?

Case: Corsair 760T

Cooling: Corsair H110i GT

PSU: Corsair AX860

SSD: Samsung 850 Pro

or if you're feeling pimp

SSD: Intel 750 NVMe PCIe

And look to replace your Titan's cooler with an EK water block and custom loop further down the line.

Reasoning: if you're going to blow that much cash on a Titan X then YOLO.

(probably go with an 5960X and a Rampage V Extreme while you're at it)

Now that you brought it up. Is getting a Titan x really practical. I'm also on an $2500-$3000 dollar budget.

I toyed with the idea of getting one, and tbh I came really close to buying it.

It's not really practical but being at the upper end of enthusiast PC builds isn't ever going to be.

It'll take longer to become obsolete if you do get one, and you're relatively safe in the knowledge that you couldn't do any better in terms of a single gpu (nobody has seen the 3xx AMD cards yet - it most certainly will be the best nvidia has to offer for a good while). You could add a second for a big boost later down the line and still be rolling, even at 4k resolutions.

As others brought up never sacrifice basic stuff like an SSD to get one, hold off until you can afford both or cut back to a 980.

I'm fairly certain you can get a Titan X into a good $3k build though, as long as you're happy with that budget then pull the trigger.
