HD4400 vs 9800GT

So I've a friend whose 270x just crapped out. He is running integrated for the time being until he can afford a new card, and I offered my old 9800GT to him if it was more powerful. He mainly plays light FPS's and relatively old RPG's (TES, Fallout, etc.).

Should work but with no where near his old performance level.

Fairly sure the the 9800gt is more powerful than h4400. But not by a lot.

The 9800GT is still capable of light gaming applications.

Probably better than the iGPU.

 

Edit: Maybe important to note, the 9800GT won't run DX11 only games.

He should be fine, if it gets too bad he can downscale his resolution. I used a HD 4600 on 720p for like 3 months.

Umm I have a 9800 ge or gt and it could barely run gmod on all low settings and was running like 15-20 fps :/
