No, they won't mess up temperatures any more than a game would.

are you sure dude? because as i remember i had 68C running a game on the same fps but with FX 6300 and then switched to i5 4440 on the same game.. and now my gpu temp is 72~73C .. actually didn't check it right after switching to i5 but right after using valley and heaven for like 6 times .. so that might be fcked up my gpu ?

a benchmark can run your GPU at load in a more consistent manner leading to higher temps compared to a game

Card may be dusty.

ye but that means to get high temps later on games?  and btw its new one.. no dust here, maybe its just the summer? because the temps here around 29~34C morning, and 22~28 at the night. and ye its been like that for 1 week until now. (the summer) is that possible?

yes, totally possible. Your temps are still fine so no worries.

Simple answer is that the i5 able to utilize your GPU more compare to your FX. More GPU usage, more heat.

| Intel i7-3770@4.2Ghz | Asus Z77-V | Zotac 980 Ti Amp! Omega | DDR3 1800mhz 4GB x4 | 300GB Intel DC S3500 SSD | 512GB Plextor M5 Pro | 2x 1TB WD Blue HDD |

ye i believe in that but i think 7~5C is too much, whatever i think its the summer and i have to cool my case by some fans or just turn on the air conditioner .

Most probably, my card idling at 48c at 2pm and 38c at 10pm. It's so effing hot right here in the afternoon.

It entirely depends on how to benchmark uses the card tbh.

For my card:

Haven and firestrike will take it to about 60-63 while most games will take it to around 50-60.

I have one game that will push my GPU as far as 70

Something like furmark and Kombustor? Kombuster? MSI's thing, will take it higher than what most games will put it at because they're GPU burners.

That being said, unless you're running furmark for hours on end the temps shouldn't be permanently effected.
