2011 Macbook Pro, Random panic restarts.

yomama362

Hello! A friend of mine currently owns a 2011 Macbook Pro that they use daily (Yes, sadly a Macbook) and recently she has been having some random restarts.
She sent me the latest report the MacBook said, and I did some of my own research but couldnt figure out what was actually causing these issues. So I came here hoping for someones assistance  :)

When doing some research I found out that it could be a panic restart. From the research I did apparently panic reports have a popup stating what is happening before the restart, but the machine just restarted without a popup/warning.
Any help would be fantastic.

I know the late 2011 macbooks had a recall. my buddy had one he uses for video work, he paid 300$ for a new motherboard, and recently been refunded. she can probably get parts replaced for free now. May want to look heavily into that.

macbooks work just fine as a daily. Hell the 768P(I believe) display looks a whole lot better then my 1080P display

I've replaced two of these models under the logic board recall already.
Take it to an apple store and get them to run MRI and VST.

also, If your friend has ever purchased a replacement logic board for that model, tell her to file in the new class action lawsuit for that.
