Have you read any of the other post in this sub forum regarding this? Lots of good info. If you only want to spend $150 - go with a AiO solution, like H110i, x60, or H220 - a custom loop done right will cost a good penny more.

h220 easily pulls ahead for thermals and noise compared to 240mm all in ones and can be easily expended so i would get that and another rad in the future

For me the h220 is the best in this test, because of the low noise level

thermals vs noise myth confirmed as not a myth. seems unanimous that is performs a bit better than other 240mm rads with less noise and top notch quality with expand-ability

expanding the loop, looks like it needs a thicker rad or just another one in general if you add a gpu, keep in mind this is full load on cpu and gpu with a slim 240mm rad
