Bought the DCUII Black OC GTX970, Should I return it and pay 10$ extra for the Strix?

Why not save up for the 970 from Gigabyte ? Or MSI ?

... Life is a game and the checkpoints are your birthday , you will face challenges where you may not get rewarded afterwords but those are the challenges that help you improve yourself . Always live for tomorrow because you may never know when your game will be over ... I'm totally not going insane in anyway , shape or form ... I just have broken English and an open mind ...

10% noise decrease and Fans dont spin unless under pressure

Well, I guess if its 10$ you might as well. I wouldn't do it unless I could wait for a week with no GPU or had a spare.

Because MSI has sexy looking coolers and Gigabyte has the best Overclock ... Or you could just get EVGA for best of both worlds  ;)

Though I have already installed this 970 so they may notice that it has been installed before

Well the EVGA comes overclocked and so does the dc2

The hassle isn't worth it IMO. The DCUII is still a good cooler. 

 

If you can get it done quickly and easily, then go for it though. 

When I search for Asus GTX 970 DirectCU II OC Black why are there only results for STRIX cards, is that because this is a newer card?
