So i have a bit of a silly diy project i want to do. I own the bitfenix colossus case here is a picture of the case:

So what I am wanting to do is change out the led's that are in the case for better rbg leds. I have several reasons for this, one and the thing that bothers me the most is the way the leds are put in the case there is a clear piece of plastic with led strips on top and on bottom. What this causes is uneven lighting towards the middle part of the case.

What i would love to do is put 3-5 led strips inside the each side panel to one have more even lighting and two a different variations of colors compared to just blue and red. My concern is having to many strips of leds and it being difficult to wire and power. I would technically have 9-15 individual strips in the case in the two sides panels and the one front door.

Finally my question is, How are led's powered and is trying to do this viable? Thanks for the help!

I would suggest putting two LED strips opposite of each other it tends to give better lighting from the looks of things it's only the top and left side that have the LED strips, another good way of getting more even lighting is having frosted plexi panels.

For the RGB LED strips they require 12V power but need to be connected to a controller to cycle through the different colors and modes, for most of the wiring since you are doing a custom job using a soldering iron and cutting the LED to length would be to most viable solution.
