Hello,

Up until yesterday my graphics card functioned fine, running smooth. It's a GTX 570, about 2 years old. But when I got home yesterday, booted into Windows, I was only able to load up a random problem (the problem occurs no matter what I open up as the first program), then the screen turned purple.

So today, I booted into Windows Safe Mode (with GFX installed) it ran fine. Uninstalled it, booted into Windows ran fine. So I though to myself that it could be a software problem. I proceeded to remove any kind of nVidia driver, also MSI Afterburner.

After drivers were uninstalled, I installed the GFX into my system again, booted into Windows and it ran fine without the drivers (not properly, but fine - no purple screen). Great. I then installed the nVidia drivers again, rebooted into Windows and everything seemed to be running fine, until the screen just turned white.

So the problem is (TL;DR): With GFX (GTX 570) installed I can only be booted into Windows for a short amount of time before a get a purple or a white from where I'm forced to reboot.

Searched Google, couldn't find anything useful, as to why I am posted this.

Do any of you know what the problem might be?

Thanks in advance!

Hello welcome to the forum don't forget to follow your own topics.

Not a 100% sure what the problem is but have you tried to switch over the bios on the card. (If it does have a dual bios.)

An AMD cpu has no place in a solely gaming build, end of.

I3 4150, Intel HD graphics, corsair CX750M, 4gb ram, Asus H81M-E, corsair 230T, Intel stock cooler WD Green 2TB Gigabyte 550TI

Why you shouldn't trust Gpu or Cpu boss Click on this I dare you!

I really don't know if it has. But I don't think I'll be able to flash it, if it crashes before I'' be able to do it.
