Recoding software

Go to solution Solved by Syh,

I'd use ShadowPlay as suggested. The performance hit is non-existent for the most part. Here's a guide on ShadowPlay: http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-1871999/nvidia-shadowplay-beta.html.

Otherwise, I'd highly recommend OBS (instead of FRAPS). There will be a performance hit to an extent though. Here's a guide for OBS recording settings: https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/how-to-make-high-quality-local-recordings.16/.

Thanks i was thinking about torrents lol i might be doing Youtube so im not sure if Fraps would be ok

Thanks again

If you have a Nvidia GPU, just use ShadowPlay.  Works with desktop recording too.

I have a Gtx 750 ti but i have no friken idea how to use shadow play i use the fps thing but do i have to loging to geforce experience to use it?

Thanks

You don't have to login to use it.  Click the ShadowPlay tab on GFE and set your keybinds, for recording and stop recording.  On the virtual Monitor at the top should be a check box where you can select to allow desktop recording.  I usually do a full system restart just in case (GFE settings always bug out for me until a restart).  Press your record button and do your thing.
