games freezing and crashing

my PC runs bf4, crysis 3 and bf hardline like a boss as you Might expect from a 980. The problem ocurrs when playing games like dota2 and smite. Dota 2 freezes every now and then and smite freezes for up to a minuite before logging me out, while in this freeze I cant do anything, my computer doesnt respond to anything. Any tips? Drivers are up to date
