Hello Guys, i need a little bit help.

At the moment i have a ivy-bridge 3770K wich is a BEAST overclocker (4.7 Ghz @ 1.120 v)

And in Q3 Ivy-Bridge-E will be released and i'm considering to upgrade to Ivy-Bridge-E. I'm a Poweruser wich has always a wackload of things open, i'm also editing videos and a little bit of photoshopping i s also in there somewhere.

I'm one of these Guys who really like to have the newest stuff in my PC, but i actually use it.

BUT: I also need a few other things like, new headphones, a Keyboard (planning on buying a Razer Kraken Pro black and a Corsair vengeance k70), a second Monitor and a new case.

I have an budget of around 800 to 1100 $, what should i do with it?

Thanks :)

The performance may not be worth getting an Ivy Bridge-E CPU.

To be honest I don't know if I would. IBE is rumoured to pretty much have PCIe 3.0 and that's about it in comparison with SBE. It will also have slightly better performance. Basically as Ivy Bridge was to Sandy Bridge, Ivy Bridge E will be similar. If I were you, I would wait for Haswell E which is rumoured to support things such as SATA 4 and DDR4 memory.

Wait for Haswell-E, as Winspeed36 said it may feature DDR4 Memory, Sata 4 and will have 8 core models, that would mean 16 threads and if I am correct, it will come on a completely new socket because of intel's tick tock phase. To be honest stick with your current i7, it is a beast and just save up for the Haswell-E in 2014/15, it will be worth the wait.

My PC specs; Processor: Intel i5 2500K @4.6GHz, Graphics card: Sapphire AMD R9 Nano 4GB DD Overclocked @1050MHz Core and 550 MHz Memory. Hard Drives: 500GB Seagate Barracuda 7200 RPM, 2TB Western Digital Green Drive, Motherboard: Asus P8Z77-V , Power Supply: OCZ ZS series 750W 80+ Bronze certified, Case: NZXT S340, Memory: Corsair Vengance series Ram, Dual Channel kit @ 1866 Mhz, 10-11-10-30 Timings, 4x4 GB DIMMs. Cooler: CoolerMaster Seidon 240V

Also @ $800-$1100 that will be all your money gone if you go a 'K' processor. No way if you're looking at an 'X'...

I would like to say i'll wait for a Haswell-E but then... there will be something else just as awesome coming within 12 months.

It's hard t stay at the top for long...
