this is an step by step guide from Steam

I installed GTA V to my hard drive and the loading times are brutal. How do I move it to my Ssd to improve load times?

I presume you have Steam itself installed on the SSD, but you chose to install it onto a seperate drive?

Simply close steam, then Cut & Paste the Steam apps folder + appmanifest files to your Steam's directory. Then launch Steam. If you don't move the appmanifest file, then it'll not recognise the files, i learnt that from past experience.

You can try to move file over to your SSD and then change the path in Steam, but I think the best to do it is to uninstall GTA V on your hard drive and then install it on your SSD.

You know how big the game is m8? It'll take forever for OP to re-download.

Copy the folder to your SSD, delete the game from steam, go to install it, directing it to install on your ssd (where you just pasted the files)

the game will detect it is already installed and skip the download

EDIT: or follow that thing above :P
