can a 600watt 80+ bronze psu handle an R9 290 + i5 4690k

i plan on getting the R9 290, i currently have a corsair CX600M PSU, my cpu is i5 4690k oc'd to 4.6Ghz at 1.3V, can my psu handle both my cpu and R9 290 ? thanks.

Yeah no prob... my system most likely draws around 550w from the wall, and my i7 takes up more power than your i5...

 

Bottom line, you will be fine with one gpu, but you wont have wiggle room for crossfire...

my friend wants to borrow my 290 once i buy it, his psu is corsair cx500 and i5 2400. can it handle dat 290?

probably not but it should boot but it will crash once you push it
