Sell your motherboard and go Intel.

on the AMD site it says that the best cpu supported is the fx 8320 on 970 boards, although as long as you arent overclocking an fx 8350 will also work, its up to you if you get a new cpu and  mobo with intel or just get an fx 8350

Then dont waste your money on a 9590, 8320 or 8350. I doubt a 9590 will work on any 970 board.

what are you talking about, i5 is cheaper than 9590 in australia

you sell your mobo for minimum of 50$ absolutely, you have enough cash for intel mobo

http://au.pcpartpicker.com/parts/motherboard/#s=24&sort=a8&page=1

and i5 4460 is like 255$

its a bit more expensive on pccasegear also h81 from asroch is 80$ on pccasegear

EDIT:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor  ($255.00 @ CPL Online)

Motherboard: MSI H81M-P33 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($63.00 @ Centre Com)

Total: $318.00

Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

9590 is 305$ and HORRIBLE processor, not just for hot australia but everywhere

not worth it, since he cant sell the mobo for the price he bought it, and with DirectX12 supporting 4+ threads the fx cpu should perform very close to an Intel, so I'd just get a new FX cpu
