Hey guys my name is Ahmed Hossam and I am from Egypt. I am very obsessed with Games Specially Call of Duty So and for my medium budget I chose The MSI x99 Gaming 7 2011-v3 with Intel I7 5820k and Corsair vengeance 16GB DDR3 2400 and MSI NVIDIA GTX 960 4 GB and Samsung Evo 850 120 GB SSD Hard disks And Seagate barracuda 3 TB 7200. So that is my first choice but I wanna know what is better for gaming the GTX 960 or ATI r9 280x or GTX 970 or r9 290.I do not need a super master computer just a computer for the coming 3 years able to play all the games at least on medium settings so I need your opinion in that rig.and that is my first paragraph in English and I not very good at it so forgive me for bad grammering. at the End it is a big Honer to me to be with you

You don't need an x99 System for gaming, especially at this kind of budget. (assuming 1200$ US)

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/bJTgmGWould perform about the same in 99% of games, for 200$ cheaper.

You also could add 16 GB of ram for more future proof-ness...

Just remember: Random people on the internet ALWAYS know more than professionals, when someone's lying, AND can predict the future.

i7 9700K (5.2Ghz @1.2V); MSI Z390 Gaming Edge AC; Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16GB 3200 CAS 16; H100i RGB Platinum; Samsung 970 Evo 1TB; Samsung 850 Evo 500GB; WD Black 3 TB; Phanteks 350x; Corsair RM19750w.

Laptop: Dell XPS 15 4K 9750H GTX 1650 16GB Ram 256GB SSD

Spoiler

sex hahaha

tanks for your fast comments... But I have a low experience with gaming desktops . !Just make it as your computer and advise me for the best gaming hardware

Well how much are you planning to spend? I would recommend an i5 with a GTX 970.

so it will be Gigabyte GA-Z97X-SLI Socket 1150 Motherboard + Intel Core I7-4790K Processor + Kingston HyperX 8GB DDR3 1866MHz + GTX 970 .... what do you think ?!

That's much better, but if you are only gaming then an i5 is just as good

Intel Core i7 9700k - EVGA FTW GTX 970

Found this list that might help you find better prices.

If this is going to be a pure gaming PC, then you should look for: i5 4690k, decent Z97 board with SLI compatibility, nice 120mm tower cooler (Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo is common), GTX 970, decent 750w psu for future SLI capability, 8gb of Ram (2x4gb), nice case with good airflow (Corsair 230T maybe), 120gb or 240gb ssd (Crucial is nice for the price, as is the new OCZ stuff), 1TB or 2TB hdd for mass storage.
