Schiit+HD650?

Go to solution Solved by Guest,

It's a neutral amp and DAC, it isn't going to sound like anything.

Has anyone tried the Schiit Magni/Modi stack with the HD650? I'd like to get something that would sound good with the HD650, since I already have a pair of them. The thing is, the Magni 2 uber and Modi 2 uber would fit perfectly on my Audioengine A5+, so I would really like to get something that is of a similar size/style. I really like the look of brushed aluminum, so there is that.

Hey! New SIgnature!

I'm supposedly a person on the Internet, but you'll never know if I'm human or not ;)

Well then, that makes it exactly what I'm looking for. Although, on second thought, is the gain low enough for a pair of IEM's? I do have a pair of SE535's that I might want to run off this...

It has a gain switch, which is supposed to bring it down low enough for sensitive IEMs.
