Hello gentleman, as in the title, I'm looking for a gaming PC for $900 (scratch built!) for myself and my brother. Thank you for the help and good luck in your gaming adventures!

Also, cheers to the gents who made the build post guide.

  1. Budget : $900 Location : USA, FL, Zipcode 32680
  2. Aim : The main focus is for gaming, video editing, and 3D. The range of games will go from simple (Minecraft) to the top (Battlefield 4, Far Cry 3, etc)
  3. Monitor: Need one that's at least 20 in. (width) by 10 in. (height) that's 1080p. I do plan to add one more monitor later in the future.
  4. Extras: Already have a mic, mouse, and keyboard. Watercooling would be preferred.  We do need Windows 8.1 for the operating system.
  5. Case: Need one that has good airflow, is not noisy, and more importantly has decent room for everything and ease of upgrading. Looks are secondary (up to you really, but please no pink haha)
  6. Parts we have: I have a Western Digital 500 GB Hard drive, and two Sony CD-R Drive units

I do appreciate to all those who help and spend their time helping a new PC nerd. (One less thing, anything that can be recommended to make this more orderly is great)

This one's 876$ US

You can save ~60 by getting rid of the SSD (Which I do NOT recommend doing)

For 950$ you could get this http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3qd2NG whichout performs the above in editing.
