IMO, go with the R5. It is soundproofed like hell, and it is looks great. It also has all those hard drive cages. But who needs those when we have PCI-E SSDs? :P But really, it really comes down to preference and your build.

“When life gives you lemons, don’t make lemonade. Make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don’t want your damn lemons, what the hell am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life’s manager! Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons! Do you know who I am? I’m the man who’s gonna burn your house down! With the lemons! I’m gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!”

Phanteks Enthoo Pro

While the Define R5 is more silent, the drawback is poor airflow.  This goes for all "silence optimized" chassis, their airflow isn't great.

Buy the Enthoo Pro, its a lot more case for the money.

Fractal Define R5 is more expensive and lousier airflow. Enthoo Pro is cheaper and has a superior airflow and modularity. Of course ultimately you have to be the judge of it.

I do love my Enthoo Pro, easy to work with and lots of clearance space.
