So I'm planning to upgrade my PC a bit soon, and as part of that, I'm selling my GTX 760 and (unnecessary) H110i to help pay for the new stuff. I'm NOT looking to sell here; this isn't and ad. I'm just asking for advice.

My question is, how much are those things worth? I was thinking around $140 for the 760 and $80 for the cooler. Both have all original boxes, paperwork, and parts/accessories. Both have been used less than a year - and cooler less than 4 months.

Thoughts?

1. Read the post :P

2. Nope.

Damn, I have to start reading till the end.

Anyways, maybe drop the price on both for 10$ or so. The price is good but a lot of other people are selling these parts.

Longboarders/ skaters message me!

easely sell the h110 for 80-90$

the 760 would probably go for 150 for a good sell. maybe 125.

Thanks for the replies!

One more question- if I were to upgrade to a GTX 780, would it be worth it? I have an i5-4440 and 8GB of RAM. Would there be a bottleneck? I can get a 780 for $299 and I want to make sure that waiting for the 980 isn't worth the money or something.

I would say upgrade to at least a 4 GB card, and one that isn't discontinued.

Also if you list your components on Craigslist you can price them higher and say your willing to discuss lower prices, you get more bites that way, and sometimes people buy the hardware for the higher price without even asking for a lower price.

Ok, but if I don't have the extra money for a 970/980, would a 780 be that bad? It's not like it's a card from 2012, and it has 3GB of VRAM...

And I was thinking eBay, but I could try that too.

The 780 is not a bad choice. Have you looked at AMD cards at all? Some of those 290Xs are really cheap. Especially if you buy used. I have a 970 and it treats me well. The 970 and 290x supposedly perform very similarly in most games.

I just don't want AMD :P

I really like the Nvidia-exclusive stuff coming up in games (like Arkham Knight's PhysX, HBAO, and other stuff). I know they're a bit more expensive, but I don't mind.

Fair enough :P

It's your money!

I'd say the 780 is not a bad choice for 1080p. It might be VRAM limited in the future if GTA V is setting a new standard for VRAM consumption. 3 GB "should" be enough for 1080p, but GTA kind of said no to that...

That being said, in those games that require more VRAM you can lower the settings for a 3 GB card. No game at minimum settings will take more than 3 GB at 1080p so I'm sure you'll be good to go with a mixture of ultra/high

Good point, and my current 2GB 760 can use 'very high' textures with no stutter in GTA V, even though the game says it would take up almost 3GB of VRAM...
