Need help with PCI!

Go to solution Solved by ApolloX75,

From what I can find PCI is listed as PCI. If a site is listing PCI X16 then I would err on the side of caution and assume they mean PCI-E and are just lazy.

I need a Riser Card/extension cable for my soundcard that uses PCI. I could only find one single product in my country that I can buy, but I am confused if it's the right part.

I can't seem to find any info on a PCI x16 lane, only on PCI-E which I can't use, so I'm wondering if it's a typo on the webpage or if PCI x16 actually exists and is just a normal PCI lane.
So can anyone tell me if this Riser Card will work, or if there's something wrong with it? (see pictures)

You can also look at the connector if there is an image of the riser and determine from there. PCIE and PCI have different notch sizes and at different places.

I would if there was a picture, sadly there isn't. I tried googling it, but it was so many different pictures and I can't reliably see if it's PCI or PCI-E.

I would say for the most part they will be PCIE risers as they became in demand during the cryptocurrency craze.  I know, cos I have a few of them lying around lol.

Yeah, most likely... Looks like I'll have to order from ebay and just wait a whole month :/ Thanks anyway!
