8800 GTS SLI problem

I have 2 Nvidia Geforce 8800GTS's (320MB), my motherboard is the ASUS M2N-SLI and CPU is AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+, PSU of 550W. The problem is that I have the second card running with no problems but it doesn't send any video-output. Now the first card is standard OC'ed, but I don't think that is an issue, is it?

If somebody maybe knows the solution, please let me know.

Well I didn't run the other one alone yet, I'll try that next.

Both are from EVGA, one has the stock cooler and the standard OC'ed one has an aftermarket Zalman cooler.

Check the capacitors. Age is a major part of this problem you seem to be having and a broken capacitor can cause all sorts of problems. I wasnt interested in pcs back when the 8800 came out so i wouldnt know how the quality is with those cards. Im sorry, i dont have an idea of what is causing it.

The 8800 cards aren't particularly great when it comes to life span. You'd be better off trading them in and getting something a bit more modern

Someone who cannot afford much. Stick them on ebay if you have to haha. Is there any kind of trade in stores? We have one over in the UK called CeX that buy all sorts of tech off people for a reasonable price.
