all i play is runescape league and maybe some smite i just wanted to know if i got suckered into a bad deal

Actually 2 6870s for 70$ is a very very good deal. Its about as good as an r7 260x which costs about 100-120$ new.

Not an extremely good buy though as your comparison is between 2 used GPU's and 1 brand new.

I would say it's a decent deal if you're not too much into gaming.

And yes this gpu should get you 60fps even when not SLI in league of legends.

A single 6870 is similar in performance to a 260x. He bought two of them for about 50$ less than single r7 260x. That is a good deal in my book. You are also underrating the hd 6870 a lot. It is a gaming card, its not like a gt 610 which shouldn't ever be considered for gaming. The hd 6870 is still a very capable gpu and can get 60 fps on 1080p medium settings. The only downside is 1gb of vram (that is unless he bought a 2gb model)

Haha yes probably, I upgraded my hd 6850 too an r9 270x as it couldn't run assassins creed revelations properly (vram was the issue I think like you mentioned), and since i've seen such a big performance boost I guess i'm a bit biased haha.

It's a good deal and like I mentioned before, you can easily run LoL with 60fps.

Just keep in mind that if you indeed have the 1gb vram, that running it in SLI will not give you 2gb, and with 1gb you limit yourself by a lot in the gaming world (even on 1080p in certain games).
