I was wondering about the performance of the intel atom.

Would it be possable to run AE CS6 on an intel atom.

The Dell Venue 10 7000 is coming out.

lol it wouldn't even be comfortable to edit videos on something like that I'm just curious.

Of course I'm going to have to install windows on it but at least its not going to be an arm prossesor.

Does anyone have exprience with an Intel Atom?

I would be useing Chrome, photoshop, Word, and possibly games, like something on the play market.

chrome and word will be fine, some games as well, but photoshop... i'm not sure about that, i have the dell venue 8 pro and i don't think it would handle photoshop that well...

Atom is a single core CPU. It's slow... very. Forget Photoshop and gaming on it- Word and Chrome only.

this is not true, atom's come in may flavours, the one i have is a quad core

You can't trust an atom, they make up everything.

:P

Lame physics jokes aside, Atoms have come a long way. Their major problem is that they're always mated to underwhelming graphics chips.
I never felt that my N270 Atom in my Aspire One ZG5 was a problem, it was mostly the Intel mobile 945GM chipset that kept my FPS in the single-digit range in WoW.

Well, my Xperia z1 has a quad core snapdragon but it doesn't mean it's crazy fast :P

true, true they definitely won't be as fast as a quad core i5, but they are very decent for the more basic tasks
