Do you feel that your RAM is getting hot?

I can't imagine you'd need it unless going for a crazy OC.

Not really, if u don't boost it a lot.

Even 1866 mhz ram in my servers do not overheat, still it's under heavy load 24\7.

But, if u run it like 2400mhz and more, u raise latency - it's bad, so... no, not worth it (for me).

They dont overheat because they have delta fans and air channels going over them :P

All ram sticks are about 40-45 C, classic server stand, so no case fans here.

Only in rare situations is cooling much of a priority for RAM. Despite this I encourage you to try using a contactless thermometer to take some readings and decide for yourself rather than simply trusting me.

1. Overclock until the magic smoke comes out. 2. Modify until broken. 3. Fix and repeat.
