Ghetto Lighting System....help

That adapter looks about right! Would you possibly have an amazon link for that?

 

Unfortunately Amazon doesn't seem to have them anymore but check around I could be wrong:

So at the moment I have a light strip taped to the inside of my case side panel to light up the innards of my PC. However in order to illuminate this said light strip, I have to run an AC adapter through the back of the case. Which seems kinda ghetto to me, so I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to where I could possibly get some sort of adapter so I could make it slightly less ghetto and just connect it directly to the power supply instead.

just get a molex cable and use the yellow and black wires to go to the light

You can either snip off that connector and solder on a molex to what I assume is 12V or get an adapter like this:
