I'm still stuck on 2014 at work. 2015 was really just UI changes, but 2016 contains a lot of improvements around PDF import/export, which I would love to be able to utilize...

Here is a comparison for AutoCAD at least for the past few versions:

http://www.autodesk.com/products/autocad/compare/compare-releases

my high schoo still waiting to buy 2016, idk we might stay at 2015

Wonderful, perfect timing for my new workstation.
And yeah, I've got my current batch of Autodesk software through my University student code.
Now... to learn how to animate things.... Hahfrak.

Blender master race? anyone?

Well unless you are a true professional who's going to afford Autodesk xD?unless you want to steal it...

I also use Blender occasionally as it's what I learnt to model with.

yeah that almost broke me the other week when I was grabbing MAYA.

Turned out what I had to do was completely remove all autodesk stuff from the install drive then start the whole download process over fresh. Worked eventually. tbh by the end I was just mashing keys until something worked.

Plus shit Aussie download speeds.... torture.
