Gpu Install Standby

Go to solution Solved by manikyath,

it's a good thing in general to turn off your computer to open up the case, even if only to avoid a cable snagging and coming loose breaks something.

but really, to install or remove any internal component your computer needs to be powered down and (according to some) unplugged

if you do that it'll lose its standby state, and have to recover from power loss (at least i'm pretty sure its like that)

Congratulations what was the point of putting it in standby if you're going to shut it off then..?

it doesn't loose standby state, at least not for me, i can unplug and when i plug back in it resumes to where i left off.

i think it makes a hibernate backup
