I actually encountered the same problem on my 7850, fun fact I couldn't fix it until I installed win 8.1 now it works perfectly :D

Well after some more troubleshooting i disconnected one of my R9 280x and now it is working fine... So its possible its something with crossfire or the gpu went bad... any ideas how to fix?
