Can I do this?

Go to solution Solved by Elven,

Can I put two of these working http://www.corsair.c...2a1600c8r.html/ (4 dual channel ram's)?

Heya,

If you are saying if you can run 2 kits of 2x4GB (making a total of 16GB RAM). Yes, you can.

The link you provided is already 2 sticks of ram. It's a 8G (2x4GB) Dual channel Kit.

But can it be 16 GB(4x4GB)?

Yes it will work! It is usually better to get a full set of 4 because they are matched together. But 99% time you will have no trouble putting together two sets. I did the same thing and it works fine for me!

Is it not cheaper to get a 16GB (4 x 4GB) quad channel?  It's usually better to have RAM sticks from the same kit.  Also a 16GB (2 x 8GB) would be good for expansion in the future if necessary.
