is this a good headset?

the headset i purchased is a razer kraken 7.1 chroma.

 

please give an honest review i know there are alot of razer fanboys in the world.

I personally wouldn't buy it because I am not a fan of lights on anything. However the Kraken is a good headset and is comparable to the hyperx clouds in price and performance. You should be pleased with your purchase.

Many people on this forum are not really Razer fanboys, but rather anti fanboys.

I have watched a few reviews on the headset and seen some criticism by customers.

People are okay with the headphone part, although it does have a sort of Beats sound to it. More bass and sometimes a bit muddy.

You should have to hear for yourself to decide.

 

I also hear a lot of bad things about the microphone, on how it does not sound good.

Also saw a few threads on this headset, about how the microphone clearly picks up sound from the headphones. Not sure what causes that.

i have a regular kraken and it has terrible sound and is uncomfortable to wear and my friend got the chroma and said it was uncomfortable also and by uncomfortable i mean your ears start to hurt after like a hour

It's usually best to ask about things before you buy them. But now that you've purchased them how about you give us feedback on them

Terrible headset, you should return them while you could. It broke on me after 3 weeks and it gives me headache from clamping force.

The sound is horrible, have I told you it's a horrible headset
