If I'm not mistaken, No 1 series crate are basically collector's item. If you have any from drops back in 2012, you can sell them for quite a profit. Don't bother opening them, you'll only get low value items with such an old crate.

EDIT: Yeap, Series #1 crate goes for 1.61 USD at the steam market place. About 57 times more valuable than common crates.

Yep, there are users that collect. I've seen people with 400 Bisons simply because of Bison Master Race, so people collect for the most random reasons.

Early crates sell because I mean they're old and collectable. What if you could get 1 of every crate? Sounds appetizing to some people. Also some crates potentially hold valuable stranges, like a strange Caber. The Kritzkrieg used to be extraordinarily expensive, but that popped up in a recent crate and the price plummeted.

if you have to insist you think for yourself, i'm not going to believe you.

I guess nothing really happens when they're all opened, but I think the 1 series crates are significantly more worth than the most recent ones, no?

Also: Mogar, nice ;)

#AHMASTERRACE  imma miss Ray...

well crate 7 is €0.07 on the SCM, about 4 cents more

Some of the old crates such as the old summer creates are now "unopenable".

i may have poorly layed out my OP question...

i mean "1st gen crates" (crates 1-25 that have 1st gen unusuals and such) those will sooner or later go extinct correct?

once theyre all open (or in scammer bps) there essentially wont be any more new hats w/ 1st gen unusuals

EDIT: i have no idea where im going with this
