Free cloning software

Can anyone reccomend a free and easy cloning software? And before you say it, no, i can't do a fresh windows install as we have lost the CD key and frankly, my dad has too much files that i can't be bothered sorting through it and saving individually as i am upgrading for my dads hdd

does the new drive you bought not come with one? I have found alot of drive company's now offer them free.

Clonezilla is free, fast, and good.  I boot it from a DVD.

 

Watch a few videos to get familiar with the interface/GUI.

Its a bare hdd. Idk but i have always got HDD like that? just in a static thingy bag.

Its a bare hdd. Idk but i have always got HDD like that? just in a static thingy bag.

checkout the manufacturers website and see if they have the software. Its worth a try.

I use dd in linux, it clones perfectly fine and it's fast.
