Tube reservoir for non inline use?

I like the look of a tube reservoir like the Phobya Balancer 250mm but I don't want to tear apart my loop to add one in. Can I just mount it and fill it with coolant but not actually use it as an inline reservoir?

Well, it was somewhat pointless, but ya, buy some plugs to close all the holes, and fill it up I guess.

Frost upon these cigarettes.... lipstick on the window pane...

Nope, I already have an XSPC D5 dual bay res so it seems like it would just add more tube clutter.

you can add anything to your case, but worrying about tube clutter by

adding a 250mm tube reservoir just for eye-candy has been done.

for no reason other than to be there. serves no purpose to the cooling

system, some has even used a small pump and recirculated Mayhems

Aurora Fluid to make an effect. kinda defeated the cases look with an

effect just in one spot and not through out..

I have done this before with a large EK tube res and a small dcp 2.2 pump turned down to circulate mayhems aurora.
