PC Squeaking when moving mouse?

This is an odd one... I can hear a squeak coming from inside my case whenever I move my mouse. The computer is working perfectly fine and doesn't seem to have any stability issues. I just have no idea what is making that noise... Any ideas?

You're bothering the mouse...what do you expect -- of course it's going to squeak. 

 

/Coil whine? Does it happen when on the desktop? Or when doing something demanding?

Any other PCs to test the mouse in? My guess is coil whine. If you can use a different port or a cheap USB to PS2 adapter then I would try that.

I isolated the sound to the back of the mobo near the CPU. Hard to pinpoint exactly where.

Have you tried opening the side panel to hear its source

Yea, ive got both open. Its hard to stick my head inside of my prodigy case tho so its hard to know exactly...
