My problem started around 2 1 months ago whenever i click on something a new porn window opens(freecam something) and not just no chrome even on my steam account i see porn ads on my steam account.

I reinstalled windows 2 times but it didn't help and i tries anti-virus(free trial) but it shows no harmful objects found..And now i can't click on any link or tab without clicking 2 times on the website and then it opens a new tab(rdsrv something) and then it redirects to some random sites........and one when day i was browsing and then i closed all tabs and left my pc after 10-20 sec some audio started playing out of nowhere...

I have no idea how to fix this prob. please if anyone can help me pls do(and sry about my english it's not good)

Thank you

download malwarebytes and do an update and scan of your system... If a problem still persists download the version of hitman pro and do a scan with it...

Once it's all done, I would recommend using Bitdefender free. Bitdefender Free is the best AV/AM you can get.

Ya, also go into installed programs under control panel. If you see anything with the publishers name being "" uninstall it, they usually are what cause popup ads for me since malwarebites never found it

That might also be adware, so look up an adware removal and try that. When you use Malwarebyts make sure you scan for rootkits.

So you formatted and it was still happening? Was it an actual format, with everything being deleted or just a reinstall over the old windows while keeping your data?

Have you looked at your Host file?

C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\HOSTS  (no extensions, open in notepad)

There shouldn't be anything of note in there other than 127.0.0.1 localhost  ::1 localhost, if there's anything else, especially any other IP other than 127.0.0.1, delete those. (Read only file, will save to a txt file, remove the extension/overwrite the old HOST file with it)

There's also the small, very small, possibility that your router was compromised, which could explain why you are still getting these junk... In which case, a reset of the router should solve it. Unless it's only happening on that specific computer.

utorrent might be to blame

You might also have a root kit. Make sure you have malwarebytes check for rootkits, it's not enabled by default.

Hi Gaurav,

I am facing the exact same problem for past 15days.

All the devices in our Apartment got affected.Even Android mobile phones.

Please let us know if find any fix.

I think the problem might be with the internet router(some viruses changes the router config).

I have tried resetting the WIFI(netgear) router.But I havent tried with the D-Link router(TataDocomo).
