No boot up

Hey guys, my friends laptop have suddenly stopped working. It wont load windows for some reason. He was installing Guildwars 2 and it suddenly froze and crashed. He owns a Lenovo z560 on Windows 7. There is an attachment picture to show how far it gets. Any help is appreciated.

It's possible windows was damaged, but usually windows will tell you there is an error than.

His hard drive may have died on him. See if you can plug it into another computer and/or see if it is firmly connected.

My arsenal: i7-9700k Gaming Rig, an iPhone, and Stupidity.

Yes that sata cable could of fallen out, but it doesn't seem likely...

mount the HDD onto another PC or a HDD dock

 

sounds like a dead HDD to me based on the error saying non bootable media found

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.
