Is it possible to see where amazon is shipping my item from?

it says its expected on friday. i just wanna know if its like 10 miles away or over seas etc

When you get it, yes you can tell where it shipped from. Also you can look at the tracking number. Another quick point is you need to see if it is "Sold and Shipped by Amazon".

When you order something it says "Ships from Example". 
You can also check the shipping label when it arrives.
