So I've had a pair of 2x4GB RAM (Hyper X Fury 1600Mhz) for quite along time, about 3 years I think? and lately I've found that if I left my computer on for a day or too, the RAM will start fill up without any reason, Task Manager dont show anything strange, using CleanMem also dont help much as the RAM filling up, even after restart it still being full like that, and I have to totally pull it out and plug it in again to reset it back to normal ~1GB usage at startup. And even if I do that sometimes I have the 55 error on the MSI Z87 GD65 Mobo, which when I look up saying that it's memory problem. However when I use MemTest86, no error can be found... even when I reinstall Windows it still have the same problem.

So... is it time for me to change my RAM?

it isn't your ram, some program has a memory leak.

if it is your RAM, what is it filling itself up with?

just windows itself can fill 2-4GB easy.

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

Even after I restart? Like when I first pull out and plug in my Ram, the Ram usage go down to around 19%, and I open Chrome and nothing else, left it there for like a day, and it go up to around 50-60%, and when I restart it still 50-60%. If it's memory leak shouldnt it go away after I restart the OS?

And I didnt use any program other than: Steam/ Chrome/uTorrent/VLC

Or, if you have much more, Windows can commit all but 3GB of what you're not using...

Sig under construction.

I once have it fill up to 99% when I left it over night to upload a youtube video (it's not something I do regularly, just once in a while when I want to show my friend some gameplay), and restart dont help so I have to pull and plug the Ram again...

And the 55 error on the mobo that make my computer cant turn on worry me, I have to pull out 1 of the RAM stick entirely to even be able to start the computer again
