Small GPU + CPU question

CydiaDash
Go to solution Solved by minibois,

Hey everyone

I was just wondering, do you think my Pentium G3258 is bottlenecking my GTX 760 in any way? It runs fine in games, but I was just wondering if I could squeeze a little more out of my GPU if I got a 4690K (for example). Thanks in advance :P

Kinda don't feel like it, but it depends on the games.

Maybe you can find some GTX 760 benchmarks with a better CPU to see if they are getting higher performance than you.

If so, the Pentium might be bottlenecking a bit.

That's pretty lopsided man. You've got a REALLY nice card and a sub par CPU. (Not trying to be rude at all I'm sure it suits your needs). If your asking I get the impression you already know its probably the bottleneck. I could be wrong but, I'm pretty sure if anythings holding you back its your dual core Pentium processor...
