Can you take this apart?

flibberdipper

So I've run into a dilemma with my Enthoo Pro. I don't really have room in the back for the fan hub that they give you, I can't run the two fans I have left off the same hub as the other fans (the two left are meant for when I render since they move a lot of air but are a bit loud), and I don't know if the thing that they sell is capable of being torn apart and put in like the one that comes in your case (http://i.gyazo.com/b2d3f2f75cf48491cfcd5ccbc64aa8db.png). So, is this little guy capable of being torn apart and put in like the stock one? Or do I have to try and snag one another way?

Here's the thing I'm talking about. http://phanteks.com/PH-PWHUB.html

I'm pretty sure you can do it. At least you should try, there shouldn't be any 'breaking' if you are gentle.

it comes with something to mount it

Thats that. If you need to get in touch chances are you can find someone that knows me that can get in touch.

Just from looking at it, it looks like its the same chip underneath that plastic, if you remove the screws you should be able to mount it on the case etc.

But it should come with like double sided tape etc

Get a Y Splitter and control your last 2 fans through the motherboard. No need for a PCB splitter

I wanted to, but my god, they split at the header which is ugly, and anything that doesn't probably costs a ton.

If they are 3 pin fans then this >http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=9_1344&products_id=28288

If it's 4 pin maybe try a 4 pin extension to keep it clean on the visable side, then behind the motherboard tray hook up the y splitter where it can't be seen. But that makes a fair amount of cable mess :/

I had thought about it, but that's just one more thing that can get unhooked. However, I have considered it.

Yeah true, I'm all out of ideas then. Unless you can get Phanteks to send you a splitter without the plastic shroud directly then I dunno. Some companies sell replacement parts but I've never really looked into Phanteks stuff before.
