My Bro Needs a new computer for gaming, recording, light video editing and rendering.

 

I do not believe that the proccessor in this build will be powerful enough for this

and if not what processor should I go with.

Honestly, no it's not. That is if hes doing games that require a good cpu. (AAA titles stuff) Swap the ssd for a hard drive, as gaming+ recording he'll fill that up in a matter of hours.

 

The cpu is super, super, just... Bad for multitasking, like recording or streaming gameplay, you'd be better off going with an amd cpu at that price point. But in all honesty, there's not much you can do with that budget. 

 

Try looking around at used parts in your area to get, buying new at that budget for that intent will not end really well...

Use the monitor you have right now and if you can the keyboard and mouse also, if not, ehh.. Also mine's a quite a bit more but will perform much better.

This is a fine build for that kind of gaming. The 250X is a little weak, but the 6300 is a very solid cpu for those who dont plan to upgrade for some years to come. If at all possible, i'd really suggest scrapping the ssd completetly to get a better gpu, then when the time comes and they've got 50$ they can go pickup a cheapo boot ssd.
