I idle at 30c and load temps are about 70c on Aida64 Extreme. Probably less when playing csgo, haven't checked. Intel stock cooler.

Ambient temperature is about 9c, but that's outside. Probably more like 20c inside.

These temps are okay? Just here to double check.

the "improved" TIM on the 4790K is bollocks, a friend has a DH15 and his runs close to 90 if you oc it to 4.4 with fairly low voltage, the DH15 on a Socket 2011 V3 8 core cpu runs a LOT colder..

its a bit better than a 4770k but not much..

It's still a 4.4ghz monster.

4.0 with all 4 cores running 2 cores 4.4 boost mode, but correct, its a fine 1150 cpu... im faily happy with mine..

but seeing what can be gotten by removing HS and re applying paste, and putting the Heatspreader back one, annoys me... simply because such a small amount of improvement would have made the cpu much better..

does the temperature matter, i don´t think so, i´m just used to keeping my electronics as cold as possible, and 65+ seems high..

although its just on the core, the CPU does not dissapate as much heat into the case as the older CPU´s, i remember the cooker called the intel 920, DAMN that created a lot of heat.
