i've never heard of that brand.
don't cheap out on a PSU. it's the blood and veins of your build.

things to maybe cheap out on:

MB if only going with 1 GPU

CPU if you want to wing it and OC.

HDD.

optical drive.

things to not cheap out on:

PSU

GPU.

We can't Benchmark like we used to, but we have our ways. One trick is to shove more GPUs in your computer. Like the time I needed to NV-Link, because I needed a higher HeavenBench score, so I did an SLI, which is what they called NV-Link back in the day. So, I decided to put two GPUs in my computer, which was the style at the time. Now, to add another GPU to your computer, costs a new PSU. Now in those days PSUs said OCZ on them, "Gimme 750W OCZs for an SLI" you'd say. Now where were we? Oh yeah, the important thing was that I had two GPUs in my rig, which was the style at the time! They didn't have RGB PSUs at the time, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big green ones.

cheap out on a HDD? Are you crazy? That is only a viable option if you won't put any important data on it,otherwise that is one of the most stupid things to do

I'm building a pc and I've been having kind of a trouble choosing a psu. I don't want to buy a very expensive one, so I have my eye on the Nox NX 650W. My question is: is it reliable and a good choice?

yeah. i am crazy. HDDs are cheap.

i'd rather buy two cheap 1TB HDDs and run them in raid1 than buy an expensive 1TB drive without raid.

people really discount the durability of drives these days.

2 less expensive in RAID 1 is often still more expensive than a normal 1TB drive from a good trusted brand like WD and Seagate.
