Compatibility issue

So I was searching for a ram to add to this build http://pcpartpicker.com/p/nWHY7P  andI found the Kingston Beast 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-2400 , Now the problems is that the ram is 1.65V and I'm trying to add it to a system with  i7-4790K  I get this Compatibility Note : 

 

The Kingston Beast 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-2400 Memory operating voltage of 1.65V exceeds the Intel Haswell Refresh CPU recommended maximum of 1.5V+5% (1.575V). This memory module may run at a reduced clock rate to meet the 1.5V voltage recommendation, or may require running at a voltage greater than the Intel recommended maximum.


so it will run on a reduced clock rate but how much ? , Also I see other builds having both the ram and the cpu , Is this fixable ? Can I run it at 2400 with overclocking or should I get a 1866 ram , The reason i chose this one is that it's a bit cheaper .

There is nothing wrong with it.  Everyone runs 1.65v RAM with Intel.  Its a non-issue.  Just because Intel doesn't verify it, doesn't mean it won't work.  It does.  Just check around, you will find tons of people running performance RAM with i7-4790ks.  It will run at its rated 2400Mhz speed.  Just set it to XMP in BIOS.

you should really only be on pc 1600/1866 ram...any more and you run a good chance of running into probs 

...and you can ignore faceman...he probably doesn't build many pc's to see the probs

Uh huh?  Which is why I have 2400Mhz RAM and an i5-4670k, with zero issues.

 

Please, show me these problems that people are running into with performance RAM and these CPUs.

trust me..ive had lots of probs with boards not working correctly with certain ram..especially when its majorly outta spec

Maybe with B and H series motherboards, where it is capped at 1600Mhz, but not Z series motherboards. 

 

Again, where is your evidence?  Because I can bring to the table a mega ton of people who use 2400Mhz RAM with their Intel processors just fine.

 

It is not out of spec.  It is just not verified by Intel.  Not being verified and not working are two entirely different things.  1.6v+ RAM works just fine with Z series motherboards.

Nothing.  Its a non-issue.
