No post codes :(

Go to solution Solved by A_Wild_SkyBear,

Hi had this issue when i was building a friends pc, is the CPU power connector connected properly?

Update: I found out by switching one of the 4 pin cables into the supplementary power (CPU power) connector and everything booted. There was some corrosion on the cable.

My only problem now is that I was running. A Raid 0 array and I had pressed the Clear CMOS buton. Now My motherboard won't regnise my single raid array. I'm trying to find what button to push to enter the raid utility, but I'm afraid I'll loose all my data. I haven't backed up lately :(

MEGA HAPPY UPDATE

I remembered to change the mobo settings to read as Raid not AHCI and it booted perfectly with no data loss! Time to run a backup! Thank you everyone for your help. I don't know why one of the cables was corroded. Their only about 2 months old. Hmmm. Weird. Thanks all!!!

I tried turning on my desktop today and it refuses to show video. I then realized that there are no post codes at all on the board. There is still power to the On/Off, Reset, and OC Genie buttons as well as the PCI lanes, and fan headers. I'm not sure about the CPU though.

I have no idea what is happening. Please help.

take out the GPU

reset the CMOS by pressing on the clear CMOS button at the back

press the power button on the mobo itself

make sure your display is connect to the mobo now
