What GPU to get

What do you have now? What res and games? are you in a rush?

 

No-one can tell you for price or performance as there is nothing confirmed or leaked (As in benchmarks).

I don'T PreSS caPs.. I juST Hit THe keYboARd so HarD iT CriTs :P

Hey guys should I get the GTX 970 or wait for the R9 300 series?

The 970 is a really nice price per peformance card i should not wait it will probarly take quite a while and the 970 is more than enough for 1080p and 144p gaming for a while also the 290 is also a great option if you want to save some money

They will probarlly not be so amazing i think probarly alot of rebrands

The R9 380 and 390 are new chips. The lower ones (370) are rebrands IIRC.

Only new card will be the 290X which I believe has been confirmed. The other cards aren't even being released at the same time. I've heard about the 290 and 270...but no 380 as of yet.

 

I'm really confused on what AMD is thinking.... no official benchmarks or anything...but why?

 

They are either planning something BIG...or they are having serious issues.
