ASUS GTX 660 Ti Waterblocks?

Hey guys, I'm wanting to get into water cooling soon and I had a few questions.

I recently purchased an ASUS GTX 660 Ti, which I love. It's a custom full sized pcb (unlike reference).

I know that when most people are going to do a custom loop and include the gpu, they buy a reference card,

so that they can easily find a full cover waterblock for it. But I would be using this with it's awesome air cooler for about 9 months

before going to water cooling, so I choose this card because it overclocks like a beast, and stays extremely cool. (and looks awesome)

But are there any full cover waterblocks for this card?

I don't want a waterblock that ONLY cools the gpu, I wanted a full cover waterblock that cooled everything, like

a normal EK full cover waterblock would.

Can anyone give me any suggestions on some water blocks that would work for me?

Or am i really just better off selling this and buying a reference EVGA or something when the time came.

I really like the better components ASUS adds to their cards, it makes overclocking so much easier.

But like I said, I want to water cool it.

Also, I love the EK Supremacy line, they look awesome.

Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks guys

If it isn't there then I doubt you will find any because EK are the company to go to for custom PCB waterblocks.

I found these:

http://www.coolingconfigurator.com/upload/pictures/DSC_0210-800.jpg

http://www.coolingconfigurator.com/upload/pictures/DSC_0198-800.jpg

and the backplate:

http://www.coolingconfigurator.com/upload/pictures/EK-FC670DCII_backplate_front_800.jpg

The backplate looks like the right size. but if I use that Acetal+Nickel waterblock, wouldn't I have a bunch of of stuff like

the VRM not cooled by the block?
It looks wayy too short...?

Are there any other options?

What 660ti is it?

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008Y65MUA/ref=oh_details_o05_s00_i01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I bought it for $300. It was before the 760 came out and all the prices dropped

If cooling configurator says it fits then it does. The block is made for that card, it cools every part of it.

I doubt there are any other options if you have a non-reference PCB.

On 2nd look, it seems like that block does cover the entire gpu and VRM

It doesn't seem to cover the very end.. which I don't like

Do you guys think it would be betetr to just get a 760 and sell my 660 Ti? They use a shorter PCB, which honestly, I don't like how small it looks. But it would give me better performance and I know the waterblock would cover the entire thing

That's because the end doesn't need to be cooled and performance wise it wouldn't make a difference. You can't see the card  from that side anyway and they save on cost of manufacturing by ending it there. The block only comes into contact with the card at a few points anyway (at the CPU and then everywhere you have to apply thermal pads). Rest assured everything that needs to be cooled is cooled.

On the side you can see you have a fill sized back plate.

If you have the money then you should upgrade your GPU though as you will have better performance.

Yea, I see that the VRM and GPU is cooled, which is all that's needed, but I wanted it to the edge for looks.

But I can live with that.

Also, I planned on buying another 660Ti for SLI, which would give me better performance than a single 680. But idk

I may just sell this and buy 2 760's. I don't really have enough to spend $500-$600 at one time

I personally would go for a 770 over a 760 if you are upgrading from a 660ti. As Ghost said performance per dollar it makes more sense to spend on a GPU upgrade rather than wc your current card. Most of the time wc is for aesthetics, reducing heat output or noise.

Right but I can get 2 GTX 660 Ti's which out does a 770 easily, or two 760's outdoes a 780 (i think)

It's easier for me to come up with $300 twice than 500-600 at one time, know what I mean? plus I've always wanted to run SLI

SLI has more problems and is worse than a single card.

nVidia's multi card solution is much much better than AMD's.. Not nearly as many issues. And I can get more performance for less that way. And multi GPU configurations will only get better and better as time goes on, I'm not worried about that. If I ran into a big issue with a certain game, I can just turn 1 gpu off. I mean I would LOVE to have a GTX 780, but I can't afford that

I just bought the 660 Ti, I'm not looking to buy another series of cards right now. And It is mostly about aesthetics. But I would love the ability to be more quiet while reducing the heat a bit. Even though my CM V8 does amazing (I modded it so it has 3 fans on it)
