Seems like good deal

Does sound like a good deal. Can you send me the link? I wanna see.

I've been using an original Model M (well, made in 1992) since I started my adolescence and I wouldn't want to go back. It's just such a nice feel and I think it's one of the reasons that I'm nowhere close to getting any signs of RSI.

Sig under construction.

I got a really nice condition 122 key one for 30$, I love it, worth every penny. Unicomp quality doesn't match the model ms by far, but the typing is the same.

That's the same one I find

mine had just one broken spring. A bit tricky to wiggle in there, but with tweezers and patience, you can do it. I have a broken m2 I use for springs. Came packaged great and clean as hell

Do any of the keys on the left work for anything?

Or the f13-f24?

Yes they all do, as labelled, and you can use something like keytweak to cahnge them. The f13-f24 register as shift+f1-f12 on the usb version, not as unique scan codes. I plan to rewire mine with a teensy because of that.

The one I saw is PS/2

My apple adjustable keyboard has media keys that don't work with modern computers, so it wood bee cool to have ones that work on that

you can assign keys to them using keytweak, or make shift+f keys do it. But be aware iso is a bit difficult to get used to . I did, but I will be modding mine to be ansi. And bolt modding it. And audio passthrough. And possibly a usb passthough. Maybe a red glow if it doesn't look stupid. Gonna be so fun

I can't on my apple keyboard.

Windows thinks they are letters, like p and q

use keytweak. As long as they identify as unique scancodes, if they don't thats the fault of the usb conversion if that's what the connection is.

I did.

If i try to change them, it also changes the letter.

It uses adb BTW. Adb to USB adapter

hmm...I'm assuming it's the adapter. Ask unicomp support maybe? Don't mention you are thinking of buying it used xD

I'm talking about the apple keyboard, not Unicomp.

Either way, probably my cheap, non official adapter

I mean about weather it will work with that adapter, or if a USB one is a better choice.

I don't need an adapter, I have PS/2 port
